1211 An Ameloblastoma Or Intra-Oral Basal Cell Carcinoma? A Clinical Case Report

Abstract A basal cell ameloblastoma is an uncommon benign neoplasm and has a similar histological appearance to carcinoma of the skin. This clinical case report will discuss originating in maxilla baseloid variant. The objective highlight possibility misdiagnosis from this challenging case. 34-year-old male was referred maxillofacial department with recurrent nasal regurgitation following dental extraction left 1 year previous. Clinically there oro-antral fistula visible initial CT showed cystic lesion likely represent odontogenic cyst. patient underwent enucleation, where diagnosis amelobalstoma established need resection. Partial maxillectomy primary closure buccal fadpad performed second stage results 6mm completely excised within oral mucosa no bony invasion. Due extremely unusual results, secondary review requested, conclusion fully ameloblastoma. Following procedure subsequent reviews, evidence or recurrence rare type neoplasm. variant due its’ carcinoma, can lead misdiagnosis. aim show presentation findings along way correct
